2026 Ontario Open Water Championships - Age Group

Summer is approaching! It is time for some open water racing! 

As this is a separate season of racing, please only declare if you wish to attend. 

Qualifications:

1. Age Group Swimmer

2. Swimmer must be 11 and over 

3. Swimmers must be able to complete the 1 KM in 35 mins, 3 KM in 100 mins and 5 KM in 2.5 hours. (Please speak with the coach for further details)

📌 IMPORTANT DETAILS:

• This meet is 2 days. You may choose one individual event per day, plus a relay.

• ✅ Steps for the Accept/Decline Process:

• Log in to your account.

• Click on the meet.

• Select Accept or Decline.

• If you select Accept, you will have the option to confirm which days/sessions they are attending. Example: If you plan on attending Friday, please check all sessions related to your age group on Friday, if you are attending Saturday, please check all session related to your age groups on Saturday, etc..

  • Please declare your attendance by June 13th, 2026, (if you do not declare it will be assumed you are not attending, as this meet is a separate season of racing)

  • Once Head Coach Rebecca, and Assistant Coach Allison select events for each swimmer, the club will invoice and process meet fees (as these must be paid to the host club when entries are submitted).

    • Remember to check back after the entry deadline to see what events your swimmer has been entered into.

    • 🔔 Reminder: It is your responsibility to check that the meet package has not changed. The current meet package can always be found on the Swim Canada website: here  or under the events, meets and results tab on the website.
