Swim-A-Thon

Hello swimmers and families,

It's that time of year again for Swimming Canada's largest fundraiser - the Swim-a-thon! 

For those who haven't participated before, the Swim-a-thon is an annual event where swimmers attempt to swim 200 lengths of the pool in just 2 hours - that's a total of 5 kilometers!!! 

The Swim-a-thon will be held Saturday February 21 at both Goderich and Vanastra Pools.

      6:30 am - 8:45 am Goderich

      6:45 am - 9:00 am Vanastra

More information will be coming soon, but for now we just need you to:

1. Register your swimmer(s) for participation at either Vanastra or Goderich pool on the HHAC Events page of the website https://huronhurricanes.ca/events. You can also indicate if your swimmer will be unable to attend.
2. Create a personalized Fundraising Page through the official Swimming Canada Swim-a-thon website https://donate.swimming.ca/. Once you've completed your fundraising page, start collecting donations for your personal account. Minus a Swim Canada administrative fee, every dollar collected goes towards making HHAC even better!
3. Need volunteer hours? We need one more volunteer to help with arranging snacks for the Goderich location. Please reach out if this is something you can assist with.
